Always For You Jack by Alexis Morgan

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Jack and his 2 brothers became permanent members of Joe and Marlenes family by way of foster care. They overcame their difficult pasts to become the men they are today. When Jack comes across Ricky, a kid that reminds him of himself, he decides to do the same for him. Part of that includes a tutor, Caitlyn, to get him caught up with his school work. Caitlyn  has her own issues she's dealing with. This is a very touching story with wonderful characters that immensely enjoyed reading, and I'm looking forward to reading the stories of the other 2 brothers.

Buffalo Trail by Jeff Guinn

This is an epic story about life in the old west. Quanah, is a Commanche War Chief, who is trying to help his tribe survive. Cash McLendon is a heartbroken man trying to find his way in the harsh conditions of the west, and a way to win the woman he loves. Along the way we meet Bat Masterson and Billy Dixon and other historical figures. The story revolves around a buffalo hunting gang and an alliance of Indian warriors that includes Comanche, Cheyenne, and Kiowa, and is led by Quanah. What follows is a bloody tale about survival. Guinn has a way of telling a story in a way that keeps you turning the page to see what will happen next. I was given a free copy of this in return for an honest review. I'm not a fan of history, but I enjoyed reading this book

The Reluctant Duchess by Sharon Cullen

Sara goes to Lord Rossmoyne, who was her cousin Merediths fiance, after receiving threatening letters from the person who killed her cousin. Ross vows to protect Sara no matter what, because he failed to protect his fiance Meredith. While Sara is residing Ross' house, they become friends. The longer Sara lives there the more they fall for each other. The problem is that Ross thinks Sara can never forgive him for not protecting Meredith and Sara thinks that she woud be a terrible Duchess because she does not enjoy society, and she thinks a Duke needs a wife who likes to entertain and go to balls. It is a wonderfully written story with characters you can't help but like. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more books by Sharon.   I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Surrogate Husband by Wynter Daniels

This was a great read. A little romance, a little angst and a little comedy. Lucy needs a husband temporarily, because her mother told her great aunt, who they thought was dying, that she was finally married and settled. No big deal, until Aunt Bev comes to town. Lucy asks Dex, her CPA, if he'd be her husband for a family wedding, which turns into a weekend family reunion, which turns into Aunt Bev moving closer to the family. They need to come clean, but they are afraid for her health. So while they are "playing" husband and wife, they each start to have feelings for the other. But Dex doesn't like risk takers, which Lucy is, and Lucy doesn't like take control kind of guys, which she thinks Dex is. Can they keep pretending for Aunt Bev? Should they? Laugh, cry and find out.

Josette by Kathleen Bittner Roth

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.                                                                                                  I really liked this book, it was exciting and full of drama. Josette ran from her roots and Cameron is running from his future when they meet. There is a very strong connection between the two from the very first moment that they meet. The characters are likeable and the story is so engaging that it was hard to put down once I picked it up. There is never a dull moment and I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.
